How we Work

IEWM is committed to excellence, equity and gender equality as an integral part of all its programmes of work including communication, training and capacity building. IEWM offers an
integrated and a participatory approach and ensures that interventions are well targeted to those that need them the most. We value partnerships and work with a wide range of stakeholders to design solutions that deliver social and economic impact, and climate resilience. With its capacity strengthening program, IEWM facilitates positive change and transformation within communities and helps unlock the potential of communities and organizations to equitably and effectively realize their intended development goals. IEWM has a strong track record in tackling and finding innovative solutions to address climate change and natural resource management. The institute’s added value and achievement relies on strategically combining effective programme management, targeted advocacy and compelling
